Transmission of Knowledge. Different Focuses
The transmission of knowledge is one of the key aspects of any film school, but not all approaches or perspectives are the same. In recent times, institutions like the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola (EQZE) have revolutionised their teaching systems to become benchmark centres of learning. This year l’Alternativa Hall has invited EQZE to put together a session of films from school’s classrooms and to attend the festival to share their vision of the film school as a space for reflection and sharing experiences.
Before the screening, Matías Piñeiro will discuss the transmission of knowledge with Laia Manresa, moderated by Paula Lagos.
Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola is an international centre for thinking, research, experimental practice and pedagogical innovation based around the past, present and future of cinema.
