To tie in with screening of the film A morte de uma cidade (Auditori CCCB, 15 November, 8.30 pm), l'Alternativa and Nexes Interculturals are organising a Migrantour in Spanish on Wednesday 15 November at 6 pm.
A morte de uma cidade opens with views of an increasingly gentrified Lisbon before turning its focus on the migrant construction workers creating this city for mass tourism.
Migrantour is a tour on which someone from another country who is now living in Barcelona leads a group through sites of interest in the Raval neighbourhood of Barcelona (Columbus Monument, Official School of Languages, Botero’s Cat, street vendors, plaça dels Àngels), while sharing key ideas from their own experience as a migrant in the city.
If you want to join this Migrantour, simply email us at alt-news@cccb.org with a screenshot or proof of purchase of your ticket for the screening of A morte de uma cidade. We’ll send the first 15 people we hear from a free ticket to go on the Migrantour.
