Corpúsculos

Synopsis

A corpuscle is a very small fragment of matter that, when lodged in our skin, allows us to feel a soft touch. Corpúsculos opens the door to a cosmos in which the inside and outside of the body collide, blend and dissolve. An experiment, tribute and learning experience.

Biography and Films

Laura Ibañez (Burgos, 1992) studied fine arts in Bilbao. She did an MA in animation at the Art School in Ghent, Belgium, an MA in teacher training and an MA in archive work at the Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola. Her films include Love story (2018), selected for festivals such as Fête de l’anim’ de Lilla, Athens Animfest, Animocje i ReAnima; No home new home (2016); Houses from others (2016), and Just Hug Me I’m Scared, Gent (2015), selected for the Dutch Animation Festival in Utrecht (2016).
