Synopsis

A streetlamp on the edge of a town on the strip of Aragón bordering Catalonia ’s Eastern Strip flickers into light at nightfall. Romanian-born Angelica witnesses the birth of a foal at the stables where she works. The images of the little creature’s struggle to free itself from the maternal placenta and its precarious, ghostly existence will stay with her for a long time.

Biography and Films

Artur-Pol Camprubí (Girona, 1991) graduated in 2015 from ESCAC, specialising in cinematography. He has shot several features, including Features he has shot include He has shot features such as The Miracle of Almería (Moon Blaisse), Hafreiat (Àlex Sardà) and Tolyatti Adrift (Laura Sisteró). He did a postgraduate degree in creative filmmaking at Elías Querejeta Zine Eskola in 2022, where he developed and made his debut short, Podul de piatră.
