Miss Loopita (folktronica live set)
Producer and guitarist Carles “Miss Loopita” Pérez presents his sixth EP, Missla, combining world music and folklore to the urban textures and rhythms—trip-hop, garage, afro, soul, tropical, hip-hop—by exploring fresh takes on traditional songs from places as far afield as Haiti, Bulgaria, Africa and Mallorca and infusing electronic beats with a lyrical soul. A powerfully eclectic live set by this unique one-man-band armed with his loop stations and guitarra.
