Synopsis
During the early years of her life, Laura García Pérez referred to the camera as "daddy". Her father spent a significant part of the year working abroad, while her mother videoed her growing up for him to watch when he was home. Now, with her grandmother and her mother, she looks back over those home movies, as well as photographs from which her father has disappeared and the diary her mother wrote in a psychiatric facility.
In her debut feature, Laura García Pérez aims to reflect on her own identity through the reconstruction of memories. An intimate documentary about her past that helps her come to terms with her present.
