Synopsis

Two women’s voices echo across the landscape and highways of Mexico, from north to south, as they tell of how official corruption and injustice has allowed violence to take control of their lives, desires and dreams. A subjective, emotional and evocative journey steeped not only in loss, pain and the paralysing power of fear, but also in love, dignity and resilience. The women’s mirror-like journeys reflect the impact of the violence and impunity that afflicts Mexico.
