Synopsis

Stefan, a Romanian construction worker living in Brussels, is about to return home. He cooks up a large pot of soup with leftovers from his fridge to share as a farewell gift for friends and family. Just as he is ready to leave, he meets a young Chinese-Belgian woman who is working on a doctoral thesis about mosses. Her focus on the near invisible stops him in his tracks.

A minimalist and contemplative portrait, an ode to nature and human connection in an urban setting, an attempt to capture the invisible through the chance encounter of two people adrift in life.
