Un fogal

Synopsis

Audit lives with her family in a previously abandoned village in a desolate spot in the Pre-Pyrenees. After putting years of hard work into the local olive trees, beehives and ruined old houses, encroaching drought now threatens the family’s way of life in this inhospitable land, as happened to the village’s original inhabitants sixty years ago.

Biography and Films

Neus Pagès i Selga (Sta. Coloma de Farners, 2000) graduated in audiovisual communication from the EU ERAM in Girona. Her documentary films include the short Voler fins a poder (2023) and she has worked on a number of documentary produccions for National Geographic, Goroka and JWP. She is currently developing her debut documentary feature, Un fogal.
