Synopsis
In 2016 young journalist Guillem Sànchez begins investigating an isolated case of sexual abuse at a Marist school in Barcelona and ends up uncovering the biggest case of pederasty in religious schools in Spain. More than 50 former students accuse 18 teachers of having abused children for decades. Guillem, shacked by the painful accounts, becomes obsessed with the idea of seeking justice, even if this puts his budding career as a journalist at risk.
Biography and Films
Carme Abarca and Jordi Falguera have worked on all kinds of series and films, developing plots, coordinating teams and writing screenplays and bible pitches. Carme's credits include the series El Príncipe, El cor de la ciutat, El comisario, La Riera, La Salaó, Com si fos ahir and Madres, as well as the films Ouija (2003) and Lobos sucios (2016). She also teaches screenwriting at the University of Barcelona. Jordi Falguera's credits include the series El cor de la ciutat and La Riera. He teaches screenwriting at the Showrunners school in Barcelona.
