Rewend
Rewend, the nomadic Kurdish film festival promoting and distributing films produced by the Rojava Film Commune, is making its first tour, through Italy, Spain and France. Rewend and l’Alternativa, two likeminded festivals, are embarking on a new partnership driven by their shared desire to give a voice to a new generation of filmmakers with plenty to say.
Screening followed by a Q&A session with Orsola Casagrande and Rojin Felat in person and an online linkup with Sevinaz Evdike in Rojava.
The films will be screened with Catalan subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing (SDH), and there will a Catalan Sign Language (CSL) interpreter on hand for the presentation and post-screening debate.
