Synopsis

A documentary on the invasion of Afrin by Turkish forces and allied mercenaries in 2018, which sparked the exodus of a large part of the city's population. The photographer's moving eye recorded events during the attack and subsequent exodus and revealed the resistance mounted by citizens and popular milicias.

Bio/Filmo

Masoud Krad (Afrin, 1982) has worked as a director, photographer and editor on many video productions. He learnt the art of photography as a child from his father, the owne of the Krad Film Company for Artistic Production. He is a member of the Rojava Film Commune and the Artistic Committee of the Lelun International Film Festival in Shehba. His other films include Aras (2019).
