Lebrun has travelled from Congo to Canton to buy cheap T-shirts for a presidential campaign in his home country. But the goods are delayed, the election is over, and Lebrun is in a fix. Largely improvised and developed in collaboration with director Li Hongqi (Winter Vacation), this film combines tragicomic fiction and existential absurdity to explore the new relationship between China and Africa.

Måns Månsson (Stockholm, 1982) studied at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm and works as a cinematographer and director. His films have been screened and won prizes at several international festivals. He claims to work according to Viktor Kossakovsky's maxim: "There are too many good films out there. We'd better start making some great ones."
