Connective Tissue. Crater-Lab Film Collective
Connective Tissue is an improvised screening of Super 8 and 16 mm amateur films and home movies performed by nine projectionists and two musicians in an analogue jam session inspired by the mechanisms of memory.
Like audiovisual sewing machines, film projectors will stitch together anonymous memories to create a patchwork of places, times and cultures—a unique exercise in creative recycling that celebrates the materiality of filmmaking by jumping straight into the live projection process itself.
Crater-Lab Film Collective: Adriana Vila, Luis Macías, Carlos Yarza, Anita Serrano, Lluís Huedo, Pablo Simancas, Carlos Peñalver, Pilar Fernández, Diego Delgado, Antonio Bértolo, Martin Gutierrez.
