Synopsis

Today is Yolanda’s first day out of prison, after 17 years inside: 6,205 days on three different wards, several relapses and now a new life project ahead of her. Yolanda is determined not to slip back into the person she once was, but she won’t find it easy to overcome her own and other people’s prejudices, mistrust and lies in a world reluctant to forgive.

Bio/Filmo

Sandra Reina (Barcelona, 1988) is a director and assistant director. She began developing projects for Inicia Films, La Lupa Produccions and About a Bicicle Prod. She was selected to take part in the Rotterdam Lab 2017 and the 8th SGAE Screenwriting Lab in 2019. She and Fran Menchón codirected the short Trivial, which has been screened at over 35 film festivals worldwide. Her documentary short El bus de la cárcel won the 2019 AccióCurts Prize.
