Archive Filmmaking
In this masterclass, Jean-Gabriel Périot talks to Spanish filmmaker Diana Toucedo about how he and other filmmakers use archive material in their work. He will examine the links between images, memories and history, analyse ideological representations of the past and present and explore different ways of “seeing” images, as well as suggesting how to look at today’s disasters through politically engaged, poetic eyes.
