Fatima, Helen and Aminata are three short films made at the Horagai film workshop for 16- to 18-year-olds in care. After following this experiential learning process for a year, eighteen of these teenagers teamed up to write, direct and shoot these three collective stories woven through with their hopes, worries and concerns. Three films that channel creativity and technical experimentation to explore subjects such as racism, inequality, vulnerability and the experience of being in care.
The entire artistic team, including the workshop participants and the team from La Selva, will be joining us at l’Alternativa in person.
