Manuel Muñoz Rivas
Manuel Muñoz Rivas is a screenwriter, director and editor who graduated from the EICTV in San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba. His debut feature, El mar nos mira de lejos (2017), premiered at the Berlinale and won plaudits across Spain. He edited This Film Is about Me (2019), Eles transportan a morte (2021) and Mbah Jhiwo (2021). He currently juggles his work as director and editor with running workshops in film schools such as the EICTV, ESCAC and LENS. He is one of this year's guest Satellites at l'Alternativa, where he is also giving a masterclass.
Laura Herrero
Laura Herrero is a documentary director and photographer. As a founding member of La Sandía Digital, Mexico, she has made over twenty shorts in different countries. Her highly personal work, including the features La Mami (2019) and El remolino (2017) and the short ¿Me vas a gritar? (2018), has been screened at the Locarno Film Festival, IDFA, San Sebastián, Clermont Ferrand and has won awards at Málaga, FICUNAM, l’Alternativa and DocumentaMadrid, among many others.
Pablo García de Lara
Pablo García de Lara is a producer, director, editor and teacher. His work includes the shorts Alicia retratada (2003), Oblidant Nonot (2010) and Escolta (2014) and the features Fuente Álamo, la caricia del tiempo (2001), Bolboreta (2007), Tchindas (together with Marc Serena, 2015) and Camino incierto (2020). He is currently finishing editing his latest feature, Néixer per néixer, produced by Falca Visual and selected for Abycine Lanza and Mentoring Projects at l'Alternativa 2019.

Maria Morata
Maria Morata is a curator, researcher and teacher. She has curated art projects for the Arsenal Institute for Film and Video Art, CCCB, MACBA, Centre d’Art Santa Mònica, Steirischer Herbst, Intermediae Matadero and La Casa Encendida, among others. She teaches film and video art at several universities and sits on the selection committee for short films at the Berlinale, DOK Leipzig and Kasseler Dokfest. She specialises in experimental filmmaking and contemporary audiovisual practices.
Enric Puig
Enric Puig is a writer and philosopher. He is currently director of Centre d’Art Santa Mònica, Barcelona. He helped set up Enter Forum, an international space for a space for debate and the reflection on the internet and social media at the CCCB, and is a regular contributor to publications such as El Periódico de Catalunya, La Maleta de Portbou and Le Monde diplomatique. He is the author of La cultura del ranking (2015), El dorado. Una historia crítica de internet (2017) y Los cuerpos rotos. La digitalización de la vida tras la covid-19 (2020).
Raquel Marques
Raquel Marques studied communication sciences at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and creative documentary making at UPF in Barcelona. She directed the documentaries Tiempos de deseo (2020), Arreta (2016) y A casa que eu quero (2010) and the shorts O peso do horizonte (2011), Esa cosa incontrolable que es el tiempo (2016) and Miedo (2020). In recent years she has focused on teaching filmmaking and audiovisual culture from a feminist perspective.

Mireia Iniesta
Mireia Iniesta is a feminist critic who teaches film and gender studies at the online film school Educa tu Mirada. She is head of programming at the Craft Film Festival in Barcelona and also curates for the film clubs 39 Escalones and La Llanterna Màgica. She is also vice-president of the Federación Catalana de Cineclubs and a regular contributor to Cinergia, Shangrila, Solaris and El Destilador Cultural. She acted in José Luis Guerin’s La Academia de las Musas (2015) and Judith Colell’s short Aniversari (2016).
Cloe Masotta
Cloe Masotta is a teacher, film and contemporary art critic, curator and cultural mediator. She has a PhD in communication from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where she previously studied for a BA in humanities and audiovisual communication and an MA in contemporary film and audiovisual studies. She also has an MA in contemporary art theory and criticism from the Programa d’Estudis Independents at the MACBA. She recently published Cuerpos exquisitos. Identidades y deseo en el archivo Xcèntric (2020) and Tendremos que encontrar un lugar donde encontrarnos (2020).
Alan Salvadó
Alan Salvadó teaches film history and mise-en-scène models for the BA in audiovisual communication at the Communication Department at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He has also taught at other educational institutions specialising in audiovisual fields, including the Universitat Ramon Llull and ESCAC. He is a regular contributor to the cultural supplement to the Diari de Tarragona.

Víctor Feliu
Víctor Feliu has been president of the Cambrils Film Club (ACTE) since it was set up in 2018. He programmes screenings of mostly current and unscreened independent productions and also organises debates and panel discussions to accompany them. Over the course of his career, he has combined teaching with his keen interest in filmmaking, with a particular focus on Italian cinema and independent US and UK films.
Adam Marek Kruk
Adam Marek Kruk is a Polish film critic, journalist and programmer. His work has appeared in numerous magazines, including Kino, Film, Newsweek and Images, as well as in several books on film, art and culture. He has spoken at the University of Wroclaw and is a member of Wroclaw Film Foundation, Dante Alighieri Association and FIPRESCI. He curates and hosts two film clubs in Wroclaw: Polish Cinema for Beginners and DKF Centrum.
Maddi Arzallus
Maddi Arzallus is taking a degree in business studies at the University of Deusto, where she hopes to specialise in audiovisual production. She has worked on several shorts produced by Larrotxene Bideo film school, including Atzelariak (2021), alongside teachers such as Pablo Malo, Andoni de Carlos and Michel Gaztambide. She is a member of the communication team at Cineclub Kresala. She likes to escape from the ivory tower of academia to attend film festivals such as Venice, Zinemaldia and l’Alternativa.
