“One day everything will be paved over. Everyone living on his plot of land, blind to the world outside, the same shape repeated endlessly.“ Un monde pour soi examines the possibiity of sustainable rural urbanism, taking reference from Jean Giono's allegorical short story L'homme qui plantait des arbres.

Yann Sinic founded Pharos in 1998 with Nathalie Combe as an independent production house. His films include La conscience de Svevo (2000), N’ayons peur de rien (2004) and Le remords (2007), screened at l'Alternativa 2007.
