The 2010 film festival season kicks off! Sundance (until 31st January) and Rotterdam 
(27th January – 7th February). Politist, Adjectiv awarded best feature film prize at l’Alternativa (and still waiting for distribution in Spain) is programmed in Rotterdam’s Bright Future section. Deborah Stratman, who won the documentary film prize at l’Alternativa, screens her new film, Walking is Dancing, as part of the festival’s Forget Africa project. Ricardo Íscar, jury member at last year’s l’Alternativa, presents his new film Dansa als esperits, shot in the jungles of Cameroon. There is also a spotlight on the Pompeu Fabra’s Creative Documentary Master, including films by Isaki Lacuesta, Carla Subirana and Abel Garcia Roure. L’Alternativa programmers will be at Rotterdam from 31st-4th February.
