This documentary tells the story of Aïcha Messaoud, aged 105, originally from Mauritania, who has spent her life at the heart of Sheik Ma-el-Aïnin's nomad family. Today she lives in the small Moroccan village of Tata, in the north of the Western Sahara. Dalila Ennadre travels hundreds of miles through the desert, guided by Aïcha's memories, to meet the Sheik's descendants, nomad people from the Western Sahara who were forcibly settled throughout the whole of the twentieth century.
