Film Schools of the World
L'Alternativa has always been keen to champion film schools’ role in training audiovisual professionals. Every year it gives a section over to presenting leading works by students at film schools all over the world. This offers a unique opportunity to show these films in a professional setting and get an idea of the new visions emerging from schools. As usual, we are also presenting a spotlight section, this year dedicated to the UNATC Film and Theatre School in Bucharest.
Alongside the screenings, we also offer a series of parallel activities programmed in conjunction with schools in Barcelona and Madrid. We are aiming to focus on the use of tools for audiovisual creation and offer the public the chance to take part in hands-on seminars given by these schools.
CCCB, FNAC and Casa Amèrica Catalunya will be holding free screenings and activities in this section.
