Sinopsis

A man returns home after a long absence. He gets off the train in a grey port and crosses the city in search of places from times gone by, now in decline. Waiting for him in a modest apartment is his life companion Mary. The love story between Enzo and Mary, a transsexual, started in prison and now takes its course in Genoa's harbour district, untouched by the modern age, where the twentieth century has run aground like a ship without an anchor.
