NO SHORTAGE OF SHORTS
This year, we're keen to continue with two thematic areas we have successfully focused on in previous editions of the Festival.
- Presenting innovative trends.
- Showcasing outstanding German festivals at l'Alternativa.
These two goals are both achieved in this package of short films selected by film experts at the headquarters of the Goethe Institute in Germany. In addition, we shall present the short-film festival Filmfest Dresden, whose director, Robin Mallich, helped the Goethe Institute make their selection.
The Filmfest Dresden was set up in 1989, shortly before the fall of the Berlin wall, and today offers a forum for outstanding national and international short films.
In this edition we shall present four programmes of German short films made in the last seven years.
