Synopsis
Mary can't catch a break. Fusing motherhood with being a full-time carer for her disabled son has her up to her ears in red tape, barely keeping afloat. A surreal situation is looming.

Naomi Noir (Netherlands, 1999) is a Dutch writer, director, and animator. Her often absurdist works blend witty linguistics with raw linework, providing a surreal snapshot of the inner worlds of her unique characters. Her art imitates life. Her films draw inspiration from pub tales, reality television, and the painful topics most of us avoid. Naomi's award-winning film Mother’s Child lays bare the everyday intricacies of having an adult child with special needs.
