Synopsis

Apt Mgr chronicles the darkest days of the filmmaker’s relationship with his landlord and object of cinematic fascination, Bob. After a period of filming, the eccentric older queer gentleman developed unrequited romantic feelings for the filmmaker. Things quickly devolved into anger, resentment and abuse from Bob, while the camera (and apartment building) kept the two bound together.

Biography and Films

Ian MacInnes (Michigan) is a filmmaker based in Los Angeles. He grew up in the Midwest of the United States, where he was influenced by the desolation of the rust belt and the long winters. He has also worked as an editor for news media and marketing agencies.
