Synopsis

The port of a coastal city on the Mediterranean, which had once been a symbol of prosperity and the heart of life in the region, is now merely a reflection of a decaying present. Static, lifeless shots hint at flashes of a once brilliant past, only interrupted by the intermittent sounds of a housing block being constructed, looming threateningly just a few metres from the dock, foreshadowing an even darker future.

Biography and Films

Nil Manrique i Vila (Barcelona, 1998) did a BA in cinematography at ESCAC, where he specialised in film directing, made several fiction shorts and directed and edited several promotional videos for small companies.
