Synopsis

Newly built high-rise buildings in multiple areas of accelerated regeneration across London are abstracted in a series of free-falling motions. Through this abstraction comes an attempted reclamation of London’s skyline.

Biography and Films

Syd Farrington is an artist and filmmaker living and working in London. His work has been shown internationally at International Film Festival Rotterdam, London Short Film Festival and Images Festival, among others. Working with film, his work explores the physical effect of contemporary capitalism on the changing landscape of London.
