Año y vez

Synopsis

"Año y vez" is the traditional method of cultivating the land in Urroz, a town in Navarre. Although no longer practised, hands still work the fields, and under the watchful gazes of schoolchildren observing these processes for the first time.

Biography and Films

In 2022 Urroz, a traditional agricultural and livestock-based village in Navarre undergoing a process of transformation, joined the Landarte programme, which each year selects a series of Navarrese towns and creators to work on a participatory project. Filmmaker and architect Patxi Burillo was invited to take part and put together a heterogeneous and intergenerational group to work on the project that culminated in Año y vez.
