Zikuñagako Ama

Cinema Pendent Projects

Synopsis

The void left behind after the death of a father. Missing images from a documentary confiscated by the Guardia Civil in 1977. A bare niche in a small chapel that once housed a statue of the Virgin Mary. An empty grave whose bones were taken to a common charnel house. Zikuñagako Ama is a highly personal film about bones, images and memory.
