Negu Hurbilak

Cinema Pendent Projects

Synopsis

A young woman flees with a clear goal: to cross the border. When she reaches the last village in the valley, all she can do is wait. Gradually, the days turn into nights, and the nights into days. Suspended in an impossible time and an unfamiliar space, it becomes increasingly difficult for her to leave this place behind.

Bio/Filmo

Colectivo Negu are Ekain Albite, Adrià Roca, Nicolau Mallofré and Mikel Ibarguren. Their collective project was born at ESCAC, where their first works shot in Euskal Herria were made: the short Erroitz and the medium-length 16 mm film Uhara. A rabassa morta, a 16 mm short, explored the situation in Catalonia. With Negu Hurbilak, they aim to take a more ambitious step as a collective.
