Women in their thirties on dating apps in Buenos Aires, in search of sex and fun, but also tenderness and affinity, with varying degrees of success and a healthy dose of humour. Several of these dates are then turned into an animated comic.
Júlia Barata (Coimbra, Portugal, 1981) works as an architect and comic writer. She has written a range of illustrated children’s and adult’s books and her paintings have been exhibited at individual or group exhibitions in galleries and institutions. She teaches graphic projects, experimental comic and motion graphic narrative in Buenos Aires. In 2018 she drew her first animated shorts for digital platforms and music videos. Tindergraf is her first short film.
