Synopsis

Caballo de espuma is a reflection on memory, drawing on the mechanisms of the mind to evoke private recollections shared with a family through conversations in a car on a very odd journey that ends in the same place it started.

Bio/Filmo

Juanjo Rueda (Málaga) investigates documentary practice, both as a keen filmmaker himself and as a member of the DOCMA collective and a board member of CINA Asociación de Cineastas de Andalucía. His short Literal had its international premiere at FICG, Guadalajara, Mexico, and has been screened in official sections at Seminci, Bogoshorts and HIFF Huesca, among others. He won the Biznaga de Plata at the Málaga Festival and the Rosario Valpuesta Award at the Seville European Film Festival.
