Synopsis
Alberto looks back over the photos of his first communion: wounded images, with ripped-off faces. Over the course of a morning—which could well be several days—we try to piece together a fragmented domestic space through some creative editing, rather like putting torn photos back together again. Todos los días domingos offers a faceless (self-)portrait of what we label mental illness.
Bio/Filmo
Alberto Dexeus studied audiovisual communication at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, including a course in film directing at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, and did a postgraduate course in film and video editing at UPF-BSM. He cowrote and codirected Les Perseides (Boogaloo Films, 2019), which was screened at BAFICI, FICXixón and l'Alternativa. Todos los días domingos is his latest short.
