Synopsis

Eva is released from the psychiatric hospital where she has spent the last six years of her life. As she takes her first tentative steps towards a return to normal life, she begins to wonder what "normal" really means. Outside, she looks back over her past excesses and tries to rebuild trust in herself and others. When she finally gets a place in sheltered accommodation, the pieces start to fall into place: she now has a job to earn her own wage, she has patched things up with her mother and she has ahss even fallen in love. But Eva has one dream above all: to beg her son for forgiveness after fifteen years of silence.
