Synopsis
In a world where women have to reinvent themselves as allies, we search out stories from the past to show far there is still to go. We have had but a faint existance over the course of history.
Bio/Filmo
Paulina Quiroz (México) began studying audiovisual media at the CAAV in Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2009. Her graduation project was the fiction short Las dos caras del espejo (2018), which was screened at Feminasty (Maguey Prize), the Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara (2019) and the Muestra Internacional de Mujeres en el Cine y la Televisión (Mexico, 2020). In 2015 she set up Movium Media to produce music videos, documentaries and fiction films. in 2019 she did an MA in Theory and Practice of Creative Documentary Making at the UAB to equip herself with additional tools to hone her storytelling skills. She currently directs and edits films in Barcelona.
