Synopsis
An intimate portrait of the complex, interdependent relationship between a mother and daughter who struggle to live together and who have never been able to express the love they feel for each other. Beautiful, elegant and sophisticated seventy-year-old Maria has never come to terms with the fact that her daughter, Anita, now forty, has achondroplasia (dwarfism). The muted taboos between both women risk breaking out into the open as they get ready for a rare visit by Anita's brother Juan.
