Synopsis

After a protracted illness and long addiction to morphine, Carolina Mejía's grandfather is slowly slipping away. As his body vanishes, a trip through childhood memories opens the door to reconciliation.

Bio/Filmo

Carolina Mejía (Colombia) studied audiovisual and multimedia communication at the Universidad de Antioquia in Medellín, where she stretched the artistic potential of audiovisual language in areas such as experimental video and interactive installations. Outside the academic world, she has worked as a creative producer and facilitator at a number of community film labs and run virtual collage-film workshops. She currently coordinates the Ficción No Ficción university short film festival.
