Synopsis
Based on real-life situations and characters, Sis dies corrents follows six days in the lives of Moha, Valero and Pep, who all work in a small family firm of plumbers and electricians on the outskirts of Barcelona. During a week-long trial period, Moha, the youngest, has to show that he is capable of taking over Pep's job when he retires. But Valero doesn't think Moha really fits the part and doubts whether their customers will be too keen on letting a Moroccan worker into their home.
Featuring an entire cast of non-professional actors playing themselves, and laced with dashes of light-hearted humour interspersed with tiny everyday details, the film offers a fresh take on one of the greatest challenges facing our diverse, multiracial society: how to understand others.
