Synopsis

These are the last summer holidays the Vidal family will spend with their grandma Ángela, who has Alzheimer's. And for the first time, Nora feels out of place: she's outgrown children's games but doesn't yet get adults' conversations. All this suddenly changes with the arrival of rebellious and magnetic Libertad, the daughter of her grandma's Colombian carer, Rosana. Nora's summer takes on a whole new look as the two girls, from utterly different social classes, lose no time in forging a intense, albeit, unequal friendship. Together they escape from their protective family bubbles and comfort zones to discover a new world where Nora feels freer than ever. A no-holds-barred coming-of-age journey.
