Juan sin tierra

Synopsis

Juan, a foreign petroleum consultant, enters Venezuela to secretly document the deteriorating state of the country's vast refining infrastructure. Trapped in a complex web of contradictions in a country in crisis, he abandons his mission out of fear of being betrayed by his local fixer, Gabriel. With nowhere left to turn, he eventually escapes thanks to Andrea, a young woman on her own journey into exile.

Bio/Filmo

Álvaro F. Pulpeiro (1990 )is a filmmaker currently based between Madrid and Barranquilla. He spent the first years of his life in Quebec and northern Galicia and grew up between northern Brazil and Western Australia, before moving to London, where graduated from the Architectural Association School of Architecture in 2015. His work is set mainly in South America.
