Synopsis

Five young people gather in the woods to remember an absent friend. The camera observes them from afar, careful not to intrude on their privacy.

Bio/Filmo

Ramon Balcells (Barcelona, 1992) combines filmmaking with lecturing at Pompeu Fabra University. After teaching himself the basics, he honed his filmmaking skills alongside some of his all-time greats: Pere Portabella, Albert Serra, Lluís Miñarro and José María de Orbe. He set up his own production company, Cortado Films, and has directed several shorts, including El vacío (2013) and Transilvània (2014), both screened at l'Alternativa.
