Synopsis
In this stop-motion film, identical figures perform the hopeless task of preserving blocks of ice. Their repetitive movements reanimate the animals captured inside.
Bio/Filmo
Soetkin Verstegen is an independent filmmaker and animator from Brussels. She was a resident at ZHdK in Zurick, Switzerland; Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart, Germany; Saari Residence in Mynämäki, Finland; and AniDox in Viborg, Denmark. Alongside her personal work, she works as a freelancer for stop-motion films and series and teaches animation workshops.
