Bio/Filmo
Lola Clavo is an independent documentary and fiction director and producer. She graduated in filmmaking from ESCAC (2007) and holds an MFA in Filmmaking from Goldsmiths, University of London (2012). Her work has a strong social streak and sharply questions gender roles. Her first documentary, La plaza, won the UPTOFEST Award for Best Medium-Length Film at Alcances Film Festival (Cádiz), and Pennie closed the November Film Festival (London) and featured in the Voyeur section at Rizoma Fest (Madrid).
