Libertad

Synopsis

This film arose out of audio recordings of 90-year-old Josefa Castro García talking about her life, scarred by the civil war and postwar repression. A group of secondary students worked with teachers and directors to learn simultaneously about the art of filmmaking and the dark side to their country’s recent history.
