Xiana do Teixeiro has a PdD in Audiovisual Communication (UAB) and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism (Southampton Solent University). In 2008 she cofounded the production company Walkie Talkie Films. Her films include Chantal Akerman (2016), Carretera de una sola dirección (2016), Sotobosque (2016) and Somos plaga (2017).
