Synopsis

Shy Anna has just moved to her aunt and uncle's house in a new city. One day she sets off to explore her new surroundings and discovers a mysterious overgrown mansion by a salt marsh that seems somehow strangely familiar. Right from the start, she feels a powerful connection that spurs her on to explore the house inside and out. There she meets Marnie, a girl of her own age who soon becomes her best friend. Together they embark on a series of adventures intertwining fantasy and reality which eventually reveal the origens of this new friendship.
