Synopsis
Filmed during the siege of Kobani, Meryem reveals the women at the heart of the fight against Isis. Led by their female commander, Meryem Kobani, the fighters battle street by street to reclaim their city.
Bio/Filmo
Reber Dosky (Dohuk, 1975) has lived in the Netherlands since 1998 and studied film direction at the Nederlandse Filmacademie. His short films include The Call (2013) and The Sniper of Kobani (2015).
