L'Alternativa Parallel / Panorama / Las más macabras de las vidas

Synopsis

This film tells the story of revolutionary Bilbao punk band and Spanish counterculture legend Eskorbuto against the backdrop of 1980s archive images. "Las más macabras de las vidas packs a similar punch to the group’s music: anti-intellectual, coarse and at times disarming. Its 50 minutes rush by like an overwhelming exhalation, and the filth and asphalt exuded by its images put pay to any inkling of nostalgia." —Gerard Casau
