Yermén works as a tarot reader, and films her neighbours and the stray dogs on VHS from her apartment on the outskirts of Santiago. She dreams of changing her gender and decides to try her luck on a TV show. Elements of raw reality and documentary alternate with a minimalist fictional plot, which is an opportunity to follow Yermén's transformation into the person she has always been.

Camila José Donoso studied film at the Universidad Mayor de Chile and has directed several shorts, including Camino Gris (2008). Nicolás Videla studied directing and social communication at the Universidad Católica de Chile. He has written the screenplays for, directed and edited all his films, including the shorts Migrar (2009), Las nadadoras (2010) and Las zonas seguras (2011).
